The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN)
ACORN organizes low to moderate income people across the United States. The members of ACORN fight for issues important to their communities, like discrimination, affordable housing, quality education, and better public services. ACORN believes that low to moderate income people are the best advocates for their communities, and so ACORN members act as leaders, spokespeople, and decision makers within the organization.
